OK, Chad's fresher here, let me explain. There are rooms,
in 'main college' (the bit with the dining hall, bar etc.), then 5 other 'houses' spread out along the Bailey. Its pretty variable, given that they're not purpose built halls of residence or anything like that, but that's part of the fun. Most are shared, some huge, some a bit tight. Most have a shared bathroom nearby but all have a sink. They're generally well furnished, with a bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bed-side cupboard, desk and two chairs each. Some people's are quite palatial with fireplaces, period fittings etc. etc, with other's not quite so luxurious. Basically every room's unique, which is quite cool really; far more characterful than the Hill prisons.
As for ghosts, well I haven't heard of any myself, but some friends are in a room where a girl committed suicide a few years ago
. Anyway if there were any, I'm sure they would be really friendly ghosts!!
