No, PSP is for still images only.
You can paste still's from PSP to animation, and make it that way if you wanted.

i thought so, because with photoshop you cant draw, its mainly for touching up other images like photos (as the name suggests). it's just htat i have never used paintshop.

Hmm... yeah, i think thats right. I've got it somewhere on my PC, but i don't use it, but i think thats it.

PSP is alot better. You can draw on there, and then add effects and stuff.
And the animation thing is cool.

Thats so wrong, the majority of computer art and graphics on the net are either created in photoshop, composited in photoshop, or at least edited in photoshop, it is many times more suffistaicated that psp and that is reflected in the cost (£500 approx) it isnt just for photos at all. I make my own avatar, although it isnt very special i used photoshop. you can also create animated gifs staright from photoshop.

Macromedia fireworks produces pretty smooth animations. I think photoshop and image ready produce better animations than paint shop IMO.

It is IMO. Fireworks is even better though. I don't have photoshop on my pc now, had to make room for other programs, but I'm pretty sure there are drawing tools on it.
