Is anyone on it? Just interested. Have discussed the options with my doctor, and decided to give it a try.

I've never heard of it before  perhaps you can enlighten me?

I had tried it before, the only problem was it kept on unsticking itself from me so possibly get some micropore tape to use with it in case the stickiness starts to wear off.

Apart from that, worked for me just like the pill, no problems at all

Sounds a bit dodgy to me? I take it its a new thing?
Yeah, you have to upgrade from Fertility v1.0, use the new contraception patch and it upgrades you to Mildly-Fertile 1.1. It's only in beta at the moment, so it's not widely available, but they hope to eventually release Barren 2.0, though this may be an expansion pack and not a mere patch.

It works like a nicotine patch, but releases contraceptive hormones rather than nicotine!

More info here though that is just the first one that came up on google, there may be better ones

It really depends on where you will wear it. I put it on my lower back and the unstickiness started after 24hours unfortunately. They say putting it on your thigh(i think) is quite a good place to stick it, its not meant to come off as easily as trousers etc will hold it more in place.
i really don't see the point? why not take the pill or get the injection if you can't remember it? surely it's not really good contraception if it comes unsticky and could fall off?
i've got an implanon- it's AMAZING.

Well with the pill you have to take it at a similar time every day. With the patch, you only have to change it once a week. More convenient for people who are forgetful.

And it was only in my case it became unsticky for others i know it has stayed on great.

Iv found the problem with the injection is that you get 3 months of hormones in one shot which funnily enough makes your body a bit confused and therefore i get moody, horrible and sugar cravings :frown: With patch you are only going to be getting a smaller dose of hormones at a time.
