maths edexhell bascially. gcse maths was ****ed and you know it. we only passed cause the fire alarm went off. you know we are the only ones who chat in these posts lol

I had no problems with edexcel gcse maths but AS general studies was awful.

EDEXCEL are rubbish! They are incapable of adding up marks (I lost 4 marks but didn't bother complaining as it made no difference to my final grade).

They also marked my French oral retake lower than my original, and trust me there was no way it was worse!!!!

yeah, edexcel AS biology and chemistry are crap, period.
They couldn't even send back my scripts, how hard can it be to photocopy a few exam papers?!?!?!?!? They took bloody ages- about 4 weeks, until my exam officer had to phone them up- apparently they lost them. When I received them, they were about 4 or 5 marks off- but couldn't be asse* to get them remarked.

Also a friend of mine did work experience at some edexcel place and he said the place was a complete shamble- no wonder scripts/courseworks get lost!!

Also I swear they are the most pickest A-level science exam boards ever, i.e. sometimes when you explain a concept and don't say 'therefore this does that.....' you don't get the mark

Edexcel are rubbish, they have to take the 'long-winded' approach to exams etc, like 'explain this, explain that'. Questions are also vague as well. (Some people may like this but i for one don't). AQA are more concise in what they want you to do and what you get marks for - testing your knowledge which is what exams are all about, arent they? :confused:

There is also the fact I got a lower grade than I was predicted when the reported 'scandal' with the GCSE RS papers toook place this summer - although this could just be down to my own fault :frown:

Edexcel are taking their time when it comes to GCSE remarking -- about five people got their remarks back in TWENTY DAYS, but everyone else, including me, is still waiting -- and we have been for FORTY-TWO days now!!

Thank goodness I'm doing the IB so I don't have to put up with Edexcel, AQA or OCR.
