which would be better? does it even matter?

How trivial!

It doesn't even have to be black.
I did mine in a rather fetching shade of blue ink.

i just did mine in a black inl pen thing, same as i used for caf . . . hope they appreciate the effort and consistency! the pen was actually a needle tip 0.5mm ball pen made by energel with liquid gel ink in it if you're that interested. did anyone else get an saq that was just a photocopy, and not a particuarly great photocopy? i heard some people got like purple or pink card or something, similar to the caf, i applied to jesus . . .

My god! i just read the title and had to reply - its such a burning issue on the mind of all Cambridge applicants surely???

No. its not. its trivial and highly irrelevant.

Reply 14

Well i went for free with a survey style black biro. Tho having thought about it, as the SAQ was a lovely lilac colour, maybe a pink smelly one would be more appealing... something about that lovely bubblegum scent.

Reply 15

Blood, to show your commitment

EDIT: straight from the wrist, none of this filling your fountain pen stuff. Also, the admissions tutros don't like left handed people, so make sure you use your right hand.

Reply 16

I hope an acceptance to Cambridge will educate Undry1 on the meaning of priorities.

Reply 17

No, I'll tell you what will really make them want you...spray some (VERY) feminine and sultry perfume on the SAQ...

Guys it doen't matter what your writing/pen looks like...most lecturers have crap handwriting anyway and write in crappy illegible biro...

Reply 18

I dabbed on a bit of Chanel No5. I hope that'll get their attention. :p:

Reply 19

Lol...I was joking...but I suppose smelling good can never hurt.
