The semantic me is begging you to change the title to: 'least bad tabloid newspaper to read?'.

The other me is wanting to smack you for asking such a stupid question.

I would like to think I'm neutral :yep:
That's like asking what's the best STD to catch. All tabloids are ****
I do miss The London Paper and The London Lite though. They made commutes home from work so good :frown:

Well the closest to neutral you can get is either The Independent or The Times. Indy is slightly left and Times is slightly right, so I suppose it's a case of which way do you slightly lean.

The Economist is a magazine?

No, but I have heard some people call it a magazine.

Why do people classify The Times as a tabloid newspaper? It was a full broadsheet - they just made it compact for commuters. I know it has the size of a tabloid, but it has just as serious articles as The Guardian or The Telegraph. Its like calling The Economist a magazine just because of the way it looks.

Because tabloid refers to the layout, not the content. The Times calls its tabloid format compact so that its readers aren't put off buying it because of the stupid snobbery associated with the tabloid format.
