18+ Student Oyster - No discount?

I ordered an 18+ student photocard oyster a while ago. I received it in the post and attached my 16-25 rail card to it as well.

Went online as I decided to add a monthly travel card to it for £74.50 but it wants to charge me full price (£104.50)? I've double check it's my student oyster account and it definitely is. Current balance is correct as is the oyster card.

Suggestions?
What zones you doing it for? I can't find any of the prices you mentioned at http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tickets/14416.aspx
You only get discount on weekly/monthly travel etc.

I got an 18+ Oyster, topped up £5, made a single journey and it took £1.80! Surely that is the adult fare? Maybe you have to register it?

Single journey fares aren't any cheaper on an 18+ Oyster, the saving only comes in if you buy a weekly/monthly/annual travelcard.

Get it done at the ticket office of the tube station, for some reason mine won't apply discount online or at a electronic ticket booth.

Thanks - I deleted my message because I realised I was being an idiot!

Follow your own link. Click on 18+. Monthly travel card. I'm off by a view pence since I was doing it on memory. For zones 1-2.

Did you even read the OP?

That is such a pain in the ass. My parents were going to do it via their card over the phone. Typical TFL cocking things up. Again.

It was in reply to the person who said - 'Oyster, topped up £5, made a single journey and it took £1.80! Surely that is the adult fare? Maybe you have to register it?'

Thanks.
Sometimes it does that if it doesn't recognise that you get a discount. Just go to the station and explain and they will give you a refund of the difference. (It happened to me once).
