Hollister Co. Interview

So I went in store today, filled out an application and set my interview time.

My question is, do you have to wait for the store to call/email you back to confirm that your interview is on your set date, or do you just turn up to the store and ask to have your interview on the date and time you requested ? I'm a little confused.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Hollister? Are you sure you want to work there?

You are aware that they're a bunch of self loving fools who make people queue to get IN to their stores even though you look through the door and the store is empty...

I would of thought you would just turn up if you had to set a date and time.

Good luck

I guess.

Also, my friend went for an interview and all they did was take her photo and ask a generic question (one word a friend would use to describe you), didn't want a CV or ask any experience related questions. What does that show about them?

What were you expecting? Them to ask for an academic resume for what is basically stacking shelves?

I've had retail interviews that were more professional than that.

I have to agree with you. I hate going into Hollister - The fake smiley staff usually make my stomach turn.

had an interview yesterday with hollister for the model position. thought i answered the questions pretty well and i also have previous experience working at abercrombie and fitch in london. there were like 8 people including me and there were about 2-3 others that stood out. the girl who interviewed us said that it would take up to 14 days for a call back (same as abercrombie). i was wondering if anyone knew how long it would take for them to get back to you and if my chances are good because i have previous experience with another brand from the same company?

HELP! I coul barely sleep last night im really stressed out and its all i can think about.. and its only been ONE day. i know i may be overreacting but i really really WANT this job (and its not like i need it cause im actually employed by another company at the moment).

Really need some/any opinions/suggestions/advice right now!

sorry, you're quoting my criticism of the store yet asking for advice at the same time instead of shooting me down  That's a first lol

Yeah, they base their criteria on looks alone. I think that’s why many of the staff there have huge egos (they think they're beautiful).

shouldnt be calling people ugly just cause they dnt like the brand or the company. everyone is entitled o theirown opinion. calling someone ugly just for expressing that opinion is pretty bitchy.
I want to work there. I have a pretty face but what size and height do i need to be to work there?

I'm so sexy, I'm the area manager.

In all honesty, it is a shop designed for good looking people to work in, but nothing annoys me more than walking in and being greeted with a fake American accent saying something like "Welcome to the bay."

if you apply for impact size/height is irrelevant (obviously not too fat lol) but for model im pretty sure it would be beneficial if you taller and thinner if you get what i mean. have you seen anyuone on the shop floor thats bigger than a size 6/8?
