Main student area of Edinburgh

Hi,

I was just wondering, where is the main Student area in Edinburgh? e.g. Headingley (for Leeds) and Fallowfield (for Manchester)

they all live in marchmont a.k.a studentland.

Thanks for that iiikewldude. Does Marchmont mainly consist of students studying at the University of Edinburgh or do students from all the universities in Edinburgh live there?

nah just mainly edinburgh students. the herriot watt student are usually locals and live at home or live on the campus out at riccartion (used to be a farmland and is well out from edinburgh). the napier students are usually mature or local and usually live at home or in their digs which are in different places. Also the edinburgh uni students all go down to the grassmarket to get pissed.
