i haven't heard from them yet... what have you applied for?
All I've heard is that they have a reputation for being one of the slower ones :frown: I think they have something like 25 people applying per place in English though so it's hardly surprising

My Edinburgh offer cam through on the 1st February. My UCAS form was processed around 10th December.

I also didn't get any acknowledgemt letter from them. I don't think Edinburgh bother with them.
yeah it's usually about Feb, but I know someone who got one earlier but she was an amazing candidate so they obviously couldn't refuse her.
i called and they said that they will start evaluations next week and that I probably shall get a decision this month...............maybe its because i am an international candidate

Does that mean they start reading through the applications and stuff next week? Does that apply to every subject? *tries to be calm*

I got my offer from Edinburgh on February 15th.

Glasgow was first in giving me an offer, then Dundee, then a fair gap with Stirling's offer on February 14th (Edinburgh's on the 15th), and St. Andrews' on the 16th.

I suppose the only thing is to wait, then. Edinburgh is my 1st/2nd option and I applied for two courses there so I really would like to hear something.. soon! Well, at least you learn to be patient here. :>

I'm guessing that's cause they get so many applicants - 40,000 and over I think...

I've not heard anything, not even an acknowledgement. I had no idea it was so competetive.
