BA Queen Studies?

Magdalen may not have had any scientists as such, but bear in mind that Haddad-Fonda had gone through the American undergraduate system where you have to take science courses as well as arts ones, and he answered most of the science questions.

Yes, perhaps they should pitch questions for the team. So Magdalen could have questions on strange pronunciations for things and Bath on types of toiletry.

They did do questions about the history of sinks last series I believe.

Magdalen could also get questions about prostitutes (lady magdalen- yes I know it's not pronounced the same) and Jesus could have questions about... Jesus.

OMG there's a whole world of predefined questions out there.

I can't remember it personally, I just remember Paxman saying that this Cambrudge college had gotten their way to the quarter or semi final by their knowlege of thebhistory of sinks.

I was sad I missed it.

Lol, I watch it with my parents the night after on Iplayer because I go explorer scouts on a Monday. But I stayed uo last night to watch it so I could get all the answers and make out to my parents that I'm some kind of genius.

I love the university challenge questions, they're so random and you get such a good feeling when you answer them right!

Thought you done brilliant btw! But how do you actually study for this and come up with some of those answers :L? Toewrestling springs to mind  Is it just like everything you read you're able to remember without really having to read it over and over again? Similar to a photographic memory but not as effective? It really interests me how some people's memories are so good!

Of course, watching the episode again jigs your memory somewhat :>

In the sense that there is a specialised music round, yes. It's also well known that the other team's bonuses are always easier than your own

Youre a contestant! Who are yoU!

Well, my friends aren't letting me live it down

@Perseverance: it's a team thing, really. We all chipped in at crucial points. And I made that howler :>

@ben-smith: there was the sum of two primes question, but I am truly shocking at mental arithmetic and I'm even worse under pressure. I don't know why my captain said 16 though. 9 isn't even a prime!

@everyone: thanks for your kind comments :>

So youre cao! You were good!

She is going to Worcester this coming year on a Year Away from Brown to do English. So theoretically she could be in the Worcester team should she apply and be accepted. Wouldn't that be something.

Wow yes!! Doubt she'd go for it still though....

Is it just me or is there more maths students than usual this year??

I know, sadly not! Shame, as it would have been good if a Harry Potter question came up. Not to mention creating an all-time peak viewing for the programme.
