Aaah I found this thread! University Challenge is a staple of my Monday nights lol does anyone else get really happy when they answer a question correctly? even if it's just one in the whole half hour

I didnt get any coz I dont know any science and its seemed a bit specialist yesterday.

There was a York vs College of the arts game that stuck out for me: Literally all the questions were specifically arts related so york were knocked out!! How unfair

Yeah! But its a show after all so that kind of thing makes it interesting for the viewers. My parents get those sorts of questions right!

Paxman is such a genius apparently he makes the questions up on the spot apart from the music rounds. No one will ever be as good as him!!

Of course he doesn't! He even has a team that tells him how to pronounce some things. I remember that we had to re-film one of the questions and responses because he got something wrong.

Yes I have been on University Challenge and he was very very nice (my claim to fame). He sat down and had lunch with us before filming began. We lost by the way.

Oh and last week I think I could answer about 4 questions!
