Anyone with Imperial offers yet?

Hey,

i'm applying for the Biochemistry course at Imperial college, anyone got any offers yet?
Sent it off end of september, annoying me how long ucastrack took to come online, and now i only have one reply, though i did get letters from cambridge, and bath + email from imperial.

Anyone else having the same problem, apparently most of the offers last yr came within a month tops in early applicants ...hmmmmmm :mad:

offers arent normaly sent out to UK students until january time, I received mine fist week in january last year

I went for an open day in Imperial in mid November last year, and I had already had my offer by then, though that's not to say they'll do it the same way round this year (I'm also doing Biochem)

I just came back from two weeks in Zambia (amazing!) and to my surprise an offer from imperial was waiting for me! It's for civil and environmental engineering (MEng with a year abroad), and they ask for an 80% average (i have 11 subjects) with 85% in English, Physics and Maths. I'm doing the European Bac before anyone asks, where an 80% average is roughly equivalent to AAB...

I was really surprised as they did not even ask for an interview and still can't really believe i actually got the offer! wohoo! :biggrin:

I sent my application in early october...

dont tell me more people got offers lol! i hope ill get an offer at imperial or cambridge ... either will do lol ... none so far. All i have is an ABB offer at warwick

I had an email saying they'd like to offer me AAA for Chem Eng... but didn't know where to send the letter (different postal to residential address). I still haven't received a letter... having said that, Sheffield's offer has been updated on track and I haven't received a letter from them either.

NO WAY!!! My application was processed on the 7th of October and still nothing... :frown:

I have applied to Civil Engineering with Year Abroad... hopefully I'll get an offer soon! :biggrin:

I'm having exactly the same problems, and i think that UCAS are taking long to reply back to us too, and yes that was soooooooo damn annoying, i waiting for weeks for the UCAS to load up, first they stated it will be loaded up and running by mid-october, then they say end of october................and it ended up starting in early November.............they are really disorganised, i even called them earlier, they replied by telling me their systems are down! :mad:

Anyway i'm glad its working now, but can't wait to recieve offers :rolleyes:

I spoke to Simon Colton admissions tutor for Computing today- he told me that there has been a delay with ucas and he still hadnt received my application yet (i sent it 14th october)........ :confused:

oh no im totally ok, i am just like wanting to get an offer before than dec hols cos i know it'll motivate me more to work harder.

All i've gotten i a confirmation that they recieved my application... they actually sent me that e-mail twice, about 3 days apart... dunno what that means...

applied for Computer Science... i'm guessing tis a really competitive course down there... so i can only keep my fingers crossed..... :smile:

Maybe an error in the system.... or confirmation that they've made their decision, and just letting you sweat a little bit before they tell you what it is....

Same with me. About a day after I received the second e-mail I got a letter saying I had an interview. Might have been a coincidence though

i havent gotten any information about interviews... which is why i'm wondering if they have a habit of asking Computer Science people out for interviews....

I got an email aknowlegdement from them too (2 actually!) but no offer yet.... I applied on Sep 23 :eek:

.........hey people so did i............although as i've applied for Biology, it said in the acknowledgement, which they also sent me twice, that Biology students will not get interviewed and just invited to an open day! is that what is said in yours???

Anyone with Imperial offers yet?
