will m&s sack me????

i have a disciplinary hearing for m&s for the following reasons:

1. being late to training 12 mins (my id card wasnt workin)
2. not in uniform (i wouldve worn my trousers if they had fitted, and i forgot where the lockerrooms were)
3. had my fone in my pocket and took it out in the corridor.
4. deaf customers got angry because they thougth i laughed at them (i didnt laugh at them)
5. manager heard me talking about her (i sed to a girl 'y is the manager blaming me for laughing at them wen i wasnt, whats rong with her')

this happened on first week

do u think ill get sacked. ????

Well you shouldnt get sacked but maybe a warning, its so unlucky yo happen after 1 week though. When i worked at Boots....yes boots and dont laugh, i hated wearing the damn tie, i got a warning for it and even got a warning..."my tie was in a too fancy knot" WTF? Well i dont care, i quit as the job sucked....w*nk*rs!

Just try your very best not to do anything wrong next week. Oh, i work at halfords not part-time and i used to be late every sunday morning. Our boss returned after a long period away, sick leave as he had a nervous breakdown (hahahahahahahaha :rolleyes: he was such an a-hole)! I got so many warnings and then he left, another nervous breakdown, hahahaha!

OK, now SOME of those must be your fault! Its quite funny really. :eek:

I don't think you'll get sacked though, probs just a warning/put you under 'surveillance' or something.

naaah i dobut it very much they cant sack you over that!
they will just give you a warning most probably, dont worry about it. just explain the circumstances in each situation and apologise.

by the way number 1 , 2 and 3 were on training. i had my trousers in my bag btw, jsut didnt kno where the lockerroom was. no 3 and 5 happened on first day. im sooo upset cos no 4 and 5 are a bit serious. and i was told no 1, 2 and 3 could lead to dismissal. im having a hearing for training, so i will probs have a hearing for no 4 & 5 after, which will lead to dismissal. but its not fair, ive worked reall hard this week.

lol u havent got ne hope of being kept on after xmas ill warn you.

they prob wont get rid of you yet because its too much hassle to get some1 else befre xmas

1-4 don't sound like they're really your fault...but as for number 5-never ever talk about the manager while at work! They always sneek around. :rolleyes:

If it's your first disciplinary hearing they won't sack you.

To be honest although they might not get rid of you at the moment if I were them I definitely wouldn't keep you after Christmas. The first two could have been forgotten on their own but there are so many things, you just look like you have a bad attitude and are generally disrespectful. When I worked in Virgin Megastores they knew after one week if they were going to keep a temp on, and pretty much all shops do the same.

hmm, but my disciplinary hearing is for training, n they havent mentioned no 4 n 5 yet. will i get a seperate hearing for no 4 and 5?

How are we meant to know? We aren't your employers but I have to say that you prob won't be kept on as a permanent staff member.

Well when you posted your first thread about this I thought you still had a good chance. But no, you are probably gonna get sacked seeing as things haven't improved.

It's probably for the best, you need a fresh start.

no, since i posted the 1st thread, ive worked really hard, but i found out that im having a hearing for training, which was even before that.
