Any word on the cloth maps?

If not: where's cheapest for Xbox preorders? Any voucher codes floating around?

Tesco ~£25, hotukdeals should have the code.

They've also confirmed the cloth map.

As for character build maybe somebody could help me.

My character will be based on Rand al'Thor from the Wheel of Time series.

So he is an very tall human, white skin, red hair.
He is a master two handed swordsman with a katana, later retraining to use said sword in one hand.
He has incredible stamina, very strong and very adept at hand to hand fighting.
He is also incredibly strong with regards to destructive magic, poor at healing though.
He is a great inventor and a leader of men.
He has a touch of madness on the mind as well
He is also referred to as 'The Dragon Reborn'.

What would be my best race and so on to build said character :colone:

I'm going to be a Nord warrior and run around shouting at people whilst the Skyrim theme plays in the background.

A friend of mine had a great video of him running around the Imperial City and punching people with the Benny Hill Theme playing in the background.

God I laughed so hard at that film. It was taken off of YouTube, though, as someone complained it was inciting happy slapping.

What a little bitch, I hate people like that. Wacky Oblivion videos are hilarious.
I've never ever heard of Elder Scrolls but Skyrim looks amazing!
I'm going to play as a stealth character!

love those books  but as for someone who's a master at both two handed, one handed and destruction magic I think that might be a little hard to do :P

can you fill me in on what exactly this game is about, I never played oblivion or anything before it, but want to by it.

Can someone give me a run down on it?

Have you read the first post of this thread?
What do you think the best character will be?

yeah, found it a little confusing, a few terms I'd never heard of threw me off.

Do I need to play the other games to understand this one?

:nah: Definitely not
I'm the same.

But I didn't bring my Xbox when I came to uni, so I've gotta decide HOW much I want to play it. Right now I feel like I could definitely throw away the rest of my budget

I might force myself to wait until Christmas when things get cheaper... but it's tough!

Nah, they're quite self contained. The events of previous games will probably only be mentioned in passing. They just make up the history of the world. At first some of the lore might be a bit confusing because there's so many different names of things, but the game is designed to be suitable for players who have never played Elder Scrolls before.

:borat: Very nice!

Can't wait until Friday
