Mini-Fridges at Leeds

I was just wondering if you are allowed mini-fridges in your room in Leeds accommodation? (In on campus catered halls)

Phone their accommadation office on 0113 343 6086 or 0113 343 6087 and ask - they don't publish the rules and regs online

I was surprised to find that some unis do allow it. Nowhere i had ever heard of before did except for in medical circs eg. needing insulin.

I don't remember it being in the guidelines that said you couldn't have one, and noone really pays much attention to the rules anyway (we were told to remove a sofa from our kitchen before christmas in first year because it was a fire hazard, we didn't and it stayed until the end of the year!). I can't see that there'd be a problem, a friend of a friend had a proper sized fridge in her room, this was all in self catered flats (Clarance Dock if you've got a copy of the accomadation brochure), but I wouldn't have thought that catered halls would be much different
