Finance and Funding for a second degree in Architecture...can anyone help?

I already have a BSc (Hons) Degree in Animal Behaviour. I have recently decided that in my area this degree is pretty useless and I am wanting to focus on a career change.

I really want to get into my previous passion of Architecture and I have read on some websites that a degree in Architecture is exempt from the ELQ rules because it leads to being on the professional ARB.

Can anyone give me any facts on this as student finance are also giving me mixed information and no one seems to understand the rules for 2011 entry.

I know that medical degrees and nursing etc are exempt too.
