    Hey Guys :hello:

Here's the new chat thread (number 7 if you're keeping count!!), if you don't know the drill by now feel free to post in here to talk/rant/get virtual :hugs: about your LDR whatever the distance.

We specialise in rants, :hugs: and :cookie: oh and advice. So lets ramble on for another 10,000.

If you don't know the specific advice thread is in H&R at the top of the page! (I would do the fancy linking thing but I can't do it )

    Enjoy.

    :woo: New thread!

Bah. Spending the evening with couples is not good for helping me with missing the boy.

Although I've finally found a good thing about LD: I'm so glad that I'm not totally reliant on my boyfriend, and unable to have a social life without him. Tonight was my friend's 21st, and she had a small gathering to celebrate it [ahead of proper party on Saturday]. My housemate insisted on bringing along girlfriend of a month, who my friend has only met twice. He won't go anywhere without her, and instists on bring her to everything, even though they do the same course and practically live together, so aren't short of time togehter. I'm so glad I'm not like that.

Thanks for the hugs, and :hugs: for you about your friend I just feel like I have no friends, and it makes me too clingy with the boy, sigh

I had a gap year at home too...was quite a lonely year although thankfully a couple of my close friends were in the year below at school but sadly a different school to me and far away.

I'm dying right now... Its midnight and I have my Literature Review to hand in tomorrow at 9. Hardly wrote an introduction, and it sucks. I can't find a good focus for my dissertation, my subject is too vast!!!
Short night ahead (or very long one, if I don't sleep...) I'm exhausted.
sorry for the rant, and for not posting very often. but everything is so hectic at the moment.
but had an AMAZING week-end with the boy in Paris, it was just so perfect and we had lots of important talks concerning whats going to happen in the next 6 months. Its scary and exciting at the same time, I can't believe we're almost at the next step, and will have done 3 years of LDR Liverpool-Paris. I'll talk about all those plans another time though, now really need to focus and just get this lit review done once and for all....!! My main motivation now is sleep.

    Subscribing to new thread!

Can't sleep for the life of me so decided to switch laptop back on. Got a visit to a school tomorrow all about IWB use in the classroom and really need to sleep as I have to get up early!

Don't know from experience about New Look trackies but they are an absolute bargain!

Morning all :-) New thread :-)

xKTx : Ha! You should try beating your alarm naturally by 4 hours like I did today! (waking up at half 1 instead of half 6! Although I did get 2 hours of shut-eye after that ...)

    :hugs:

That's not good! Altho at least you got back to sleep for some of it. It wouldn't be so bad if it didn't seem to be a regular thing now

New thread! My god...this is like the 5th thread I've been in... Poor bean is in lectures for 3 hours this morning =( I cleaned the hallway and porch in his house yesterday - I even weeded the doorstep - they were growing into the house!

I wish I was waking up before my alarm Switched both off in my sleep today! Couldn't get to sleep last night as my window is above the entrance to the building and people were outside, presumably because they were smoking and having loud conversations at 1am

Original plan was to go to the hospital library for when it opened so I couldn't get a seat with power for my laptop (its not a very designed library, bit old so there are hardly any!) but it is exam time at the moment in Sheffield so it will no doubt be busy already...think I'll work from home for now.

I usually wake up about 6 because there's a loading bay at the back of the flat and there's a beeping noise every morning. Always manage to get back to sleep for at least another hour but it's very annoying.

Six hours to go :woo: Then I just have to worry about results...
