How odd

I had this really sharp pain in my (upper) left arm on the side last night whenever so much as I just touched it lightly, it's still there a little and I had some trouble sleeping. I've just woken up and I can still feel it a bit but it's been replaced with overall aching and a small amount of pins and needles. What's going onnnnnnn?

No I had it before then, like, just as I'd arrived upstairs to go to bed. There's no mark or anything and I can't think of anything that could've caused it.

I've had something similar at the end of the summer. I was told it could be just a sore muscle and was given some lotion and was fine after a week or so.
