Achieving a flat tummy

Does anyone have any useful suggestions for me? People seem to be shocked by how much I eat, yet I don't put on any weight, I'm thin overall but I seem to have developed a bit of a tummy. I don't put on weight, but I don't seem to lose weight easily either. I don't want to lose a lot of weight or anything, just get a reallllly flat tummy, so if anyone has any tips about what kind of diet or exercise to do that'd be really appreciated. :smile:

Yeh try not eating dairy or wheat they will make u bloat + drink loads of water cleans out ur system
do sit ups not more than twice a week maybe three times but not more than that. and go jogging :smile:

i'm well annoyed because i've lost several stone over the past year, and like some parts of my body seem to be completely fat free, my bum/legs for example =P But my tummy! it's huge still, and flabby and gross and euuurgh it's like no matter what I do the fat won't go from my tummy.

I want to know the same thing! I'm wanting to get a better figure...what foods are best to eat?

At least you can stay at a weight I am either loosing it or putting it on :mad:

i ate so much chocolate and my tummy grew by like a cm all the way round i swear! so dont eat chocolate, but yeah try to make sure it's less bloated and you have less water retention if you want immediate results, drink loads of water, you might get slightly bigger from the water at first, but once your body realises it doesnt need it all desperately it'll hopefully be smaller good luck!

Since we're talking about losing weight from different areas, has anyone got any ideas of any exercises that would help lose just a little bit weight from thighs because otherwise i'm ok.

For starters different you can't target weight loss... You can target excercise to strengthen muscles which is how in this case oxegen would get a flat tummy. Try doing as 200 stomach crunches 3 times per day and you should be ok, if you can't do this lower the ammount that you do, it only takes about 3mins to do 200 so it won't mess up your day or anything :smile:. Should work out ok for you as long as you have less that 15% body fat you will get a 6 pack in no time.

:eek: i would do perhaps 10 in that amount of time! and they always hurt my back :frown:

Are stomach crunches sit ups? :frown:
my advice is don't cut out any food unless you genuinly are allergic to or have been adviseed to by your docto-its silly fad dieting.

Drink lots of water as it can help get rid of bloating, eat a balenced diet and try to do excercises such as sit-ups, stomach crunches, hip lifts etc..

15% body fat is unhealthily low for a girl. If you want a flat stomach by Friday then what I do is eat as little carbs as possible for three days before, and don't eat much solid food. Then don't eat at all on Friday (have a couple slim fast instead). Your stomach will be really empty and hence flat. But make sure you eat lots on Saturday!
yes..cos starving yourself is so much healthier..and i don't think it would work quite so quickly :eek:

You can lose 10lbs by eating ONLY negative cal fruit and veg for 5 days. :p: But don't try it.

stomach crunchs are basically sit ups with legs straight!

ah we've had the negative calories dicussion in here before (i believed it) but i think it turned out tehre is no such thing :frown:

And to think i'd got my hopes up too. Ah well..back to conventional healthy eating
