my parents make me upset somethimes

sometimes my parents have a joke about me i know it is harmless but i'm really sensitive and they really upset me i tell them not to do it evrytime i am upset but they say ok and when i'm better they still do it i'd be fine if i was not so sensitive but i am what do i do?? :frown:

Im sure they dont realise they are upsetting you so much. like lessthanthree said, try talking to them about it.

unfortunatley, you will probably come across much worse, you just have to learn to brush it off and ignore those people. if they are pathetic enough (not including your parents in this btw, i mean people who do it intentionally) to have to make nasty comments all the time, it just shows how much better you are than them. i know its difficult, but after a time, you learn to just ignore people doing that. a good thing to do is pick something bad out about them, it can be their hair, their clothes, the way they speak, anything you like, have a laugh at it, but dont tell them what youre laughing at, itll confuse them, and you will probably feel better.
