dreams

how many people on here belive in the saying if you dream the sam thing more than once its bound to come true?

I don't... i used to have the same dream every night... i was in a shop shaped like a boot, when a woman dressed in black with a black victorian-style veil came up to me. I ran home to my wooden-hut house and started peeling potatos.

Hasn't come true yet.

Hmmm possibly, but I doubt it. I think dreams make you think about people differently and this in effect could change your relationship with them, so say you dreaming about someone romantically then decided after thinking about it, that you did fancy them, then this might make your dream come true as it were. I don't think dreaming that a witch will chase you down a path, several times will come true though! :biggrin:

if you dream the same thing more than once it means you're set on making it come true...
therefore chances are it will come true...
however if you fear that the dream will come true, then it may or may not come true...
think of it as a warning...

what u dream has hidden meanings, what happens in ur dream doesnt happen in real life, unless ur having some kind of premonition, lol, but they relate to aspects of your life.

Dreams have no effect on your real life! When I was 12-13 I had this recurring dream when I met this really cute brunette in Sicily (random I know) but it never came true (although I did go to Sicily 2 years ago..hmm..)

I would have thought that dreaming the same thing more than once is related to what's already happened to you, or something you are preoccupied with; you think about something during the day which then turns up in your dream, often in a very bizarre form! This might then reoccur because you remember the dream and so think about it, so it turns up in your mind again and you dream about it etc etc...
I think dreams do have 'hidden meanings' to a certain extent, because they are related to what you think about - but not in the basic 'dream-book' kind of way, 'dreaming about your mother means you think you're pregnant, dreaming about sheep means loyalty etc etc' - those are amusing but generally made up!

i read somewhere that that particular dream is a sign of vanity!

yes come to think of it i had this dream of a green sludge like monster was chasing me in france about 10 times when i was like 7 it has not come true lol but i see what you all mean its hidden its how our mind works and have certain meanings xxx

Ive had that dream before, but i think it was only one or two of my teeth, they crumbled in my mouth! :dong:

i used to have this dream where a frosty ice cream truck was waiting for me and my friends round the corner after school everyday, that creeped me out well bad. i had that dream for at least three nights and its never come true.

i have had a couple of dreams were something happens to me. like once, i had a dream where a man had a blade for a finger and kept inserting it slowly and painfully into everyones chests. he done it to me and i woke up with a sharp pain in that same spot.

also, i had another dream where i bit off a horrible ulcer in my mouth and it hurt in my dream. when i woke up it was hurting there as well. i did have an ulcer there a couple of days before the dream but it had gone by then.
