If you had actually been academia you would know that researchers tend to refer to each other as poopypants. It's part of the terminology used in physics.


Never heard it in 2 years researching in a physics department. Guess it isn't as widespread as you think.

He's also a patronising annoying **** who dumbs down everything about physics just so he can get on tv and if he was chocolate he would eat himself - seriously could he fancy himself anymore if he tried? There are so many actually brilliant UK scientists who are just as good at explaining science why not get them to present, oh yeah cos then female viewers wouldn't watch "cos he looks good in a tight t-shirt" - tv is terrible these days

Yes. A levels were difficult in the 80s and 90s. More difficult than the first year at university back in the day. You had to problem solve. The Internet only partially existed. Ask jeeves was the search engine and the email system was something to do with pegasus.
