My brother has a medical school interview at Bristol and has very little idea of what to expect or how to prepare, and I was wondering if you could help him out.

What sort pf questions should he expect, and what are the main issues that are likely to come up in questions?

Why doctor?
Why bristol?
Why not nurse/chemistry etc?
what u like about the course?
His attributes, skills, weaknesses,
Tell him to read his personal statement and work out what q's he wud ask if he was reading it..e.g if he said i did 3 wks exp at hospital..they wud say..what did u do?..what did u like about it?..what did u see?..what did u learn?...how did u feel when u saw a sick patient?..etc..
Where have u demonstrated teamwork and likewise questions?
What you do to relax?
Problems that docs might have?
Current issues (top-up fees - medical students cud be in debts of upto £64,000)...
read about the NHS..know what it is and what its aims are etc..problems with it and y these problems occur. what can be done to resolve them.

ShOcKzZ, where did you get that list form?
Was it a web site. I am trying to make a site to help fellow medics survive 1st year of Med, they need to get in first, the interview skills needs to be brushed up! You can e-mail me if you would like.. any help would be great.
