girls cheat more than men nowadays!

well the stereotype has always tended to be more that guys go 'wayward' more often than women...

but nowadays i reckon actually it's women who are far worse n more likely to cheat regardless of 'so called commitment'..

of course that doesnt mean most girls are like that..they are not, im just saying i think they are worse than guys more often now

..but im not talking from personal experience so far thankgod..

opinions of which gender is kinda worse when it comes to faithfulness?

I would say its a more 50 - 50 thing, but of course it all depends on experience.
Like if who cheats more often than who was to be based on males and females i know,
then it would be females cheating more often than males by a very large margin.
I personally dont understand the point of cheating at all (unless it was one of them drunken things or due to thinking your bf had cheated etc), surely if you feel the need to cheat you should iver,

1:Atleast try to sort things out with your partner first, then if it doesn't work out split up with them

2:If its really that bad then just split up with your partner

Then go and have as much fun as you like if or once you done one of these 2.
Its just so much easier and logical

I have to say I think that's actually true, but it could just be that I know that many more girls than blokes so I can't really tell.

maybe it's because girls have more opportunity for sex. if a girl's willing, more often than not a guy will be willing. but if a guy's willing, the girl often won't be (generalisation, i realise). so maybe there are more guys who would cheat, but more girls who do. if that makes any sense.

i agree there actually..if a half-decent looking girl wanted a shag that night, it would not be hard for her to find it...however 'bit' more difficult for the vice versa situation to happen

And yeah, in my experience girls do it more although a lot of my mates slept around and probably still do (not seen them for a while lol im in sheffield).

But yeah girls, you have to watch out for em hehe. I'm always faithful, and writing poems about special ladies :wink:

The "statistics" are presumably based upon men and women who admitted to cheating. It could be argued that due to women's nature they are less likely to divulge as to wether they have cheated or not, thus creating misleading results.

In my personal experience, of all of my friends over the past 6 years or so, women cheat a helluva lot more than men

Although you could have put that more nicely, I somewhat agree.

The Independent had an article on research which suggests the idea that the average size of testicles depends on the degree of infidelity committed by women: gorillas have tiny ones because female gorillas are very faithful whereas monkeys have relatively big ones because of the attitude of the females.

Anyway, boring scientific research aside, I think that if girls knew that they could get away with it without anyone knowing, they would. A lot of women use sex for social promotion and learn to use sex to achieve goals. They don't seem to have the same amount of moral conscience as men.

It seems that most girls are mostly worried about the "slutty image" than a guilty conscience. Of course, there are loads of girls who do have a conscience! But it seems that there are a lot of girls who once they no longer care about their image, or once they're in a situation where they won't gain a "slutty image", then there's little that stops them from sleeping around.

Despite people going on about how unfair it is that men and women are perceived differently when they're behaving promiscuously, there's probably a reason why that system came to exist, other than male domination. We're simply not the same and have different behaviours (generally).

Oh well, if I'm the only girl left in England with a moral conscience then so be it...I'd never ever cheat. It's the worst thing anyone can do.
