As far as you’re concerned, what the point in being posh if you’re going to leave the meat out of your sandwiches and bestow ridiculously unkind names like Tarquin upon your offspring. You couldn’t be less bothered about fancy airs and graces if you tried- there are far more important things in life.

    Im not a girl though...

You are a fully fledged member of the pink pashmina brigade, you made some great chums at boarding school, are a stickler for etiquette, posture and the Queen’s English and are quite partial to the odd tea at the Ritz. Though whilst that’s all very well isn’t it about time you let your hair down for a change – alice band and all.

Draughty castles and family crests really aren’t your thing, you’re not ever likely to be in the running for the future Mrs Prince Wills and you’re not too hot on the rules of Polo either, which, quite frankly, doesn’t bother you in the slightest. Who wants blue blood anyway?

I might show this to my flatmates at Bristol Uni, who think I'm posh.

    My pashmina's the wrong colour.

But then it was £2.99, so it wouldn't really count anyway.

    "Do you pronounce garage ‘garahhj’?"

I thought this is how everyone pronounced it, in England anyway

I think a lot do, but me and most of my mates say it more like 'garrij'. Cos we're common, innit.

That's the way most people in Scotland pronounce it - if you did it the other way with a Scottish accent you would just sound like a tube.
