Impellor, velocity, and freshwater shrimp coursework.

This may or may not be for the Biologists - but rather for the Geographers - but my friend would be most grateful if anybody can tell him the formula for converting distance impellor travel to the velocity of a river. This is for his Biology coursework, and I was hoping that anybody who may have come across this would be of any help.

Thank you in advance, and rep to anybody who can give help. :smile:

A formula that can be used it the following:

V = 0.0277 + 3.2805/t

where V=velocity, and t = time taken for the impeller to move up the screw thread

not sure if that's what you meant!
