# confidence intervals watch

1. hi im stuck on the second part of this question

Applicants to join police force r tested for fitness and given a score assume the distribution for scores is normal

the scores of a random sample 10 applicants were

55 23 44 69 22 45 54 72 34 66

experience suggests that the standard deviation of scores is 14.8

i)calculate a 99% confidence interval for mean score of all applicants- i can do that bit
ii) the scores of a further random sample of 110 applicants has mean 49.5 and SD 16.5. using the data from this second sample calculate a 95% confidence interval for the mean score of all aplicants
also calculate an intervalk within which 95% of scores of applicants will lie

thanks
2. anyone?
