If I go to Durham I would like to join this society.

What equipment do you need?
Reply 10
Boots and trousers which aren't jeans is all they ask for. I take a rucksack, a fleece, waterproof top and trousers and food/drink. Not much is needed.

Cool  Is it very strenuous or designed to be accessible for most people?

Well they run 4-6 walks per week, designed for everyone, so the walks range from easy to medium to strenuous, so yeh they are designed for all.

Which ones do you go on?!

Medium/Strenuous, cos i'm well hard like.

Depends of the leader too, if its someone you like, and if the walk is going somewhere nice, but normally one of the longer ones, they are fun.

I prefer Bassenthwaite or Buttermere myself. And Cockermouth is 10 billion times better than Keswick!!
