Please, not the typical restaurant and all that. Let's have some other suggestions that aren't overused.

On a serious note, it's really up to you. What you like is probably different to other people.

Aww, that's actually quite cute, but a bit too "Butlins-style" if you get what I mean.

"cute" hmmm.....picnic in the park...tis a bit chilly though.

Erm...the zoo? Not so cute, more a decent day out..and still it's cold..curse the cold!

Some sort of experience (paid for or volunteering) involving cute little furry animals!

-Picnic
-Walks in parks/along rivers
-Paint a pot places (you know the ones I mean...)
-Zoo
-Aquarium
-Make your own ice cream places
-Movie at your house, maybe go shopping or rent it together before (+popcorn stuff too)
-Make brownies/cake/baking at one of your houses (this is a complete laugh and the best idea I've got...)
-Fly a kite/frizbee/football
-Swimming
-A class of something e.g. yoga/ something at a leisure centre

Hope it helps

Fish and chips at the seaside? Go for a walk on the beach afterwards in your wellies, very cute, even in the chilly weather
Or you could be cultural and visit old parts of cities like cathedrals and castles, there's usually some little independent shops in those areas, at least where I'm from.
