    Nuffield has a library.
    It has lots of books:
    Mecca of social science

Why is that Nuffield can have all the books I need but the social sciences library, LMH library and the history faculty library combined can't have a single one? Grr

(Okay, so it's 7-5-7 instead of 5-7-5. So sue me)

Nuffield-rich postgrad college with tonnes of funding.
If you want to refer to the books there, you can probably write to their librarian and ask for permission. Or get your tutor to write a letter for you.

i think one book was out for the next week which obviously doesn't help me because I'm about as likely to write a paper a week in advance as I am to eat my own foot. For some reason, the SSL doesn't have one on confined for that book or even short loan. The other book is one that i'd expect to be in the history faculty library. The problem is that my tutor realized I was a visiting student so he didn't need to stick to the syllabus whatsoever, so he just sort of makes up whatever he wants to talk about the next week. Which is cool with me, but it does mean some of the readings he gives me are ONLY at the Bod. And I can't be "arsed" to do that.

Anyway, yeah. So Nuffield has everything.
