What's the difference between the student version of the Black's veterinary dictionary and the big one?

Also would anyone recommend it?

Thanks

The student one is paperback and has the title on it of "student veterinary dictionary", but other than that is identical to the 'normal' one.

It is useful for looking up words that you hear in practice to get an idea of what cases actually are without quizzing the vet about every single thing.

A lot of public libraries have a copy (even if just reference only) so maybe have a look there if you want to see what it is like before you buy it.
