Four letters are picked at random from the word THURSDAY. What is the probability that there is atleast one vowel between the letters ?
I'm also not sure if I should be using P or C .

I was told to deal with questions like these, put the probability of what you want / total outcomes so:
--------------
Probability of a having a vowel: 8C2 ?

Total Outcomes: 8C4 .

8C2/8C4 = 2/5 which is wrong

My vote is for P(at least 1 vowel) = 1 - P(no vowels) = 1 - 6C4/8C4
