Well obviously yes, you get very fit from that sort of training. Plus being able to throw a good punch may well come in handy at some point in life.

Depends whats your goal. For fitness boxing is good. Note, you won't actually box that much more do circuits.

You get into shape and learn how to defend yourself.

I was thinking this too lol, I liked the idea of getting fit + learning how to defend yourself, but getting your head caved in didn't really appeal to me.

This, I do boxing training 2-3 times a week when I can get to it, great workout, plus you learn how to smack people really hard, whats not to like? And if you're just gonna do the training you're barely gonna get brain damage as the hardest it gets is touch sparring tbh, people don't start taking lumps out of each other in training
