I didn't get time to look around The Tannery, it's a tower block right? Opal something? Is it nice? I liked North Hill Court and James Baillie doodah. Hated Clarence Dock (reminded me of an old people's home) and Leodis, it reminded me of a hospital. Who's with me? x

I had Tannery as my main choice, but observations about it being in a bad area, being dark and cold put me off...also I'm an english student and the prospect of most people being dental students and always stuck inside kinda put me off...stereotype much? 8-) Anyway I thought I'd be daring and go for JBP, I figure if I don't get it then pot luck is much easier than actually having to make a choice!

Btw that's just my opinion, if you want you can ask some more people to see what fits your needs best. For it's as close to perfect but then again nothing is perfect.

yer, i've heard a lot about it and the concerns are pretty much of little or no concern to me, plus the rooms look newer than JBP likewise the bathrooms, only JBP had chairs other than wooden ones round the table from all the ones i was interested. It's really close to town, 20mins walk to college, direct bus to headingley and town so i'm sorted. There's 4 other halls close to it so i doubt social life is gonna lack all that much (besides i don't intend on hooking up with my flat mates anyway so just gonna be hitting the clubs )
