Hey guys I'm researching this topic for a project I'm working on dealing with the effectiveness of anti-viruses. Your views on the topic would be greatly appreciated. A more detailed poll and survey will be put up later but for now I need to make a few assumptions so I can make a mathematical model. Thanks guys

What do you mean by 'anti-viruses'? Do you mean the fake anti-virus programs which get into your computer and tell you that you have 3 billion viruses and you need to pay money to get them removed?

If so, then yeah. They're the only viruses I've ever got (but I honestly fail to see what they aim to accomplish. Is anyone really daft enough to pay the money?)

There are those who fall for the gimmick. Not everyone is computer smart unfortunately.
