Hey im doing salters chemistry and doing my individual investigation on Fats & Oils. Does anyone know if temperature affects iodine value of fats and oils, and if it does, how??

Temperature cannot affect the iodine value (index).

Look at the definition and you will see why.

My teacher told me to do iodine value at different temperatures to find the effect of temperature on oil stability. When i did the experiment the iodine value increased with temperature EXTRA CONFUSED
