Hello,
I'm finishing A-levels this summer and taking a gap year. I'm not planning to study music but I've been playing the flute since I was 13 and got up to Grade 8 and now almost DipABRSM level. I have an amazing teacher and enjoyed playing but now I'm not so sure if I want to continue or even if I enjoy playing. So basically I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice from experience on whether I should continue with music playing into uni (and didn't study music) and if they found it worth the time and practice?
Thanks a lot~

Doubt youd find time to take lessons and practice effeciently while at uni. I rarely have time myself to play my guitar, let alone practice for a Dip.

You don't have to do the diploma if you don't want to, but don't give up playing. You'll regret it if you do.
