Help I need to block someone on facebook but I can't!

Why don't you put yourself under private settings so he can't see your friends list?

Hi there.... I hope I'm posting this in the right section.


Basically long story short.... My ex has started adding my friends on facebook, people he has never met (these people don't even know I know him - nor do I want them to, he's horrible)! I don't mind it if he knows them (there is one person he does know which is fine - no probs there), but he 100% doesn't know the others.... I'm not sure why he is doing this, whether to get back at me, or if he is 'interested' in them.

I know I can't do anything about people he has added, but I want to block him from my profile so he can't do more damage, but he is under 'private' listing, which means if I try and search for him to block him, I can't (he only shows up if I look through my friends profiles). I feel so frustrated, and powerless. I want him out of my life, and he is like a plague that won't go away. Is there anything I can do?x

when you are on his profile there is a 'report/block person' link on the left...

top right of the page

account >> privacy settings >> block lists >> put his name in the block section

surely your friends are sensible enough not to accept the requests

and look through your messages. i'm sure you can find one from him and you can block him from there
