St Andrews' Secrets

Having heard a bit of talk about secret passages to the castle which I'm sure most people are aware of (one apparently comes up in a student run house, but is blocked off), I was just wondering if anyone would fancy putting up any of the Secrets of St Andrews. As a first year I don't really have many, but I'm sure there's plenty out there. Would also be good to hear cool features in peoples halls, off the top of my head, in John Burnet there's a painting which you can swing back to reveal an old safe which is fairly cool, sure that Sallies, Regs and Mcintosh will also have some cool stuff. Don't want to hear anything from Uni Hall scum thanks very much ( jokes  ). So yeah, fire away!

If this thread is intriguing enough, it might decide my firm for me

there are so many ghost stories it's hard to know where to begin... there is a facebook group dedicated to this purpose - I still find it incredible how much I find out about St Andrews everyday, for such a small place there are lot of hidden alleys/ walks / places that I bet most students have never seen

How about whether or not the DRA cat is in fact also the New Hall cat?

Or are there two separate cats???

I think you made a mistake in your post.
It should read:
'Don't want to hear anything from John Burnet scum thanks very much ( jokes ). So yeah, fire away!'

Though really, I don't think Uni hall has anything that exciting. Maybe I just need to explore it more...
I've heard there's some crazy underground thing on the Scores - a friend was locked in the Philosophy library after it closed and had to go out via some sort of back stairway that went down to a basement underneath the Scores and came up in something like the classics building on the other side of the road? Not too clear on the details but it was definitely the Philosophy library!

Hi, is this Facebook group still active? Either way, I am curious what the group is called, I would love to check it out. Current St. Andrew's student, here.
