Can be a huge variation, we have two sets at home, I stodd on one, then walked over to the second set and apparently I'd lost just over a stone! Would be great if that actually happened, but unfortunately it isn't :frown:
ive seen a 5kg difference between them at around 80kg
If I stand on it it mite say 12st, then again rite after and it may be 12st7, then again it may be 12st 4!

I think the surface that you're standing affect it. Maybe just always get weighed on the bathroom tiles and not on the landing carpet  Also your weight can fluctuate during the day, so make sure you get weighed at the same time, like first thing in the morning, when you're lightest.
One set of scales (had for years) - analoge type - 8st (Upstairs)
Newer set (Digital) 8st8 then 8st7 then 8st4 then something else (Downstairs)

I tend to rely on the older\anaolgue scales, coz well had them years n years (prolly older than me!), and for that reason alone must say they are pretty accurate. Plus the Digital ones can't even give consistante readings, so how can I rely on these?

In short, can be quite a big difference, +-1stone? Purely depends on scales I'd guess.
yeah i have heard that too!they think we are fat nooooooooooooooooo!i'm just big boned
lol   :p:

this is kinda a weird questions but bathroom scales are apparently inaccurate - varying between them etc. but i know OBVIOUSLY each set of scales is different but generally how much do they vary by - i mean on what scale are we talking variations - of like half a kilogram or of a couple of kg?
thanks for any input - sorry bout the randomness - im a curious soul. xxx

Usually only a few kilograms out its nothing major
I use the scales at the gym and the scales at home. There is a 2lb difference so nothing too major.
i find bathroom scales very unreliable, mine just seem to be totaly smashed giving my rate as anywhere between 10 stone and 14 stone (eep)
