Ive seen this site before and although I have no definate proof that it doesnt work, I wouldnt bother wasting your money! If you have problems with acne then the best thing to do is to see your doctor who will be able to give you something.

I went to see the doctor because i got really concerend about my acne and he perscribed me this solution you apply to the affected area twice a day. The solution is called 'Dalacin T Topical Solution' prosuced by a coimpany called 'Pharmacia' . It really helped me! i would reccomend you go see your doctor and get advice off him.

you know, I know as well, that the pill could help me, but I am so sceared of side effects, I just saw a girl who gained weght coz of pill, she was like a baloon, and she spent like one year to lose that weights and she is still chubs. And i actually can have problems with weight...so, dont know ifit worth it or not, but for sure I need to see a doc..i just live in Sweden now for this year, and here their med system is sooo stupid...oh...it is topic for another thread...

Weight gain can be a side effect of the pill but I think as long as you take care of yourself i.e.- healthy eating, regular exercise, you should be fine.Ive been on the pill for a while and havent put any weight on. I orignally started taking it for my skin and it worked wonders- I took Dianette. Or you could always visit your doctor and ask for a topical treatment- at the moment I am using Benzamycin for my acne and it does work, just need to be patient! Good luck!

dermatologists reckon that acne has nothing to do with diet
Ah here we go again with the same old acne arguments. you can bet that whatever someone says, another will rubbish it.

I suggest if its bad acne ask your gp for roaccutane. My mate swears by it; it certainly sirted him out. Another friend is on oxytetracycline; this does not seem to be having the desired effect. but i suppose everyone is different, and what suits one may be unsuitable for another

It doesn't sound too convincing. I use Oxytetracyclin pills which DO work and I was prescribed them from my GP. But they do give them out quite liberally- so it's worth a try.

Did you get those Oxytetracyclin pills after you talked to your doctor, you did you find them yourself? Do you need any prescridtion to buy it?

you can't just buy them, they are antibiotics, you'll need a prescription from your GP

A friend of mine had acne, and he went on a "programme" of this very expensive treatment (worth more than its weight than gold apparently!) and it completely sorted him out. He got it on his family health insurance, due to stress related stuff.

You're an idiot. Diet has virtually nothing to do with acne. Doctors have established that for years.
