Two packets P and Q are connected by a rope which passes over a smooth fixed pulley. P has mass 4kg and Q has mass Mkg where M > 4. The system is released from rest with the string taut. The initial acceleration of each particle is 3ms.
(a) The initial tension
I found this to be 51.2N
(b) The value of M
(c) The initial force exerted by the rope on the pulley..
Given that during the first 2s of the motion neither particle emets any obstruction,
(d)calculate the distance moved by P during the first 2s
Any help on the last 2 parts of this question is very much appreciated guys!

Work out the acceleration via F=ma then sub in the values into the suvat equation s=ut +[at^2]/2
