    Zero divided by 4 Equals Zero...

    But yes the original equation is the correct way to work out the gradient.

    The tricky part is making sure you've used the right values for y1, y2, x1 and x2 in relation to the question.

    Is it horizontal? If so it is zero. Assuming the scales are equal.

    (2--2)/(4-0) = 4

    [EDIT again] ignore my first comment in the post about the horizontal. m=1 when it is horizontal, don't know what i was thinking.
