You put your A2 grade as pending. You do the same if you're retaking providing you haven't accepted your original grade, in which case I believe you're supposed to put it on the form as well. If you did decline your your original module grade then you don't need to put it on your UCAS form. The date you put in would be the month you are doing your resit.

you have to first put the AS and what grade you got, then do anther entry for the A2 with the grade as pending

Unless of course you haven't cashed in the AS grade, in which case you just put the A2 as pending.

If you don't know whether you've cashed in the AS grade then check your results slip (the thing you got on results day!). If it has the module scores and a grade, that is cashed in. If it just has module scores, it isn't.

However, if you know you've then declined the grade you don't put it on.
