    Hi.

I'm a Canadian, about to start applying through UCAS. I'm a little confused, though!

First, I don't quite understand how I enter my qualifications. I gather that there's an area to enter what courses you're taking, but does it recognise all international qualifications?

Also, do I have to send proof of the courses I'm in, or my grades? For example, my Canadian Secondary School transcript?

Any clarification would be much appreciated!

About entering your qualifications, there is a section for international qualifications, i'm sure canadian qualifications would be in that section.

I'm an international applicant from the USA. For my regular courses, I entered them under "High School diploma". I also sent to each uni a H.S. transcript.

    Thanks for the replies!

Bdarnell, may I ask if you sent the transcript when you applied? Should I contact the unis before doing this?

I submitted my UCAS, put together a packet of additional information and directly mailed it to the unis. I did call them up first to see if they wanted it.

I'm applying from the US as well and I've had the same questions. Since every course is different, you should contact the specific department (i.e law, econ, etc) of the uni's that you are applying for instead of the general admissions people. For the most in depth and specific advice on all concerns about your UCAS, you should contact your British Council in Canada. They will literally go through the application with you! Look up the British embassy in Canada on the web and it should have a link to the Canadian British Council. Good luck!
