Weird Eye Thing

Hello. Was wondering if anyone has any idea what's up with my eyes etc. This has been happening for the last week or so.

Every so often (maybe once every few hours) my eyes do this sort of flickering thing - if feels like a kinda pulsating spasm (awful description, I know) in one of them and it feels like it's centred on the side of the eye facing outwards from my head (so it other words, a bit that's hidden). I looked in the mirror and my right eye has a bloodshot patch there. Under my left eye (which it also happens to) there's a mark on my skin at the bone that sticks out before they eye (top of the cheek bone?) that looks like a spot that's not quite come through yet. When I press it, it feels like it has been bruised and hurts a bit.

I've not fallen over or damaged it in any way I can think of. It's not a big problem and it'll probably go away eventually, I'm just curious...

There has been a few posts about eye twitching before...I'll see if I can find some...

1. You may have a sty under your eye which requires cream from the pharmacist to be rubbed on the eye or
2. You have a blocked tearduct, and that happens now and again and is just an annoyance that dissappears

I used to get bloodshot eyes when I played games/watched TV for too long. It was a result of eyestrain. I sorted it out with an eye examination and a resulting pair of glasses. I'm not exactly saying that this is what's happened to you (in fact, the tear duct diagnosis is probably the most accurate), but it's just something to consider.

You're the man... well, men, or women. Either way, you're wonderful people.
