So surprised we have loads of Physical lovers here!

I absolutely adore human! I mean AS human Geography was perfect! Disease Geography, Population management, could life get any better? Lol

In terms of Physical Geography, I'm not sure... GCSE Physical was okay... I only liked rivers and river management. Same with AS Physical - I only like rivers and found the 'hot environments and their margins' topic SO horrible.

In A2 we are going to continue with more physical stuff which I am interested in, mainly because I am interested in Natural Science + Geography.

However, no more rivers and river management *sobs* - it was a great topic, but standing in a river, in snowy, cold April for field studies was NOT a great experience.
I like hydrology and extreme climates and plate tectonics. They mix well with human as well I think!
I prefer physical because I am an outdoors sort, but I think my degree will have mostly human elements because of the whole 'development and sustainability' thing. I want to eventually get into water security or agricultural sustainability, which means I can be outside digging hopefully, but will involve lots of human geo. aspects. Really looking onward to September, I have only had Eden programmes and Geocaching o sustain me this summer and want to get back into it!

I did my A2 fieldwork on some sand dunes in the driving rain for an entire day, it was fun to begin with I fell down a sand dune twice lol, but in the end everyone got fed up and couldn't be bothered. looking at our results they were accurate until we got bored then they went rubbish

Has anyone on here done/doing Geography BA at uni? I got accepted into my firm today, so pleased!

Quick question, I just read through my welcome pack and it says I have to do one module of physical geography in first year - I'm a bit anxious about this, having come from a social science/humanities background, so I haven't done anything remotely maths/science-based since GCSE! Anyone offer any experiences or advice on this?
