Pill question (i can't find the answer on the forum)

I know this has probably been asked before but i really would like some advice - sorry!!

I'm not entirely sure if this is the case but nehu... I've been on the pill for roughly five months (i think) and i seem to be arguing with people more than ever, could this be to do with the pill? I've only just realised that could be why. Is there any evidence to suggest the pill makes you moodier? thanks i really appreciate it xxxxxxxxxxx

yes it does...its effectively putting more hormones into your body so yeah moods will be affected...ask your doctor to switch pills there are plenty around to try.

When I was on the pill I got incredibly unhappy- I used to get depressed and tearful over stupid things like films (not in a weepy 'its so sad' way, in a psycho way). In the end I asked to change my brand of pill- I was on Microgynol before and then I went onto marvelon which made me feel normal again. i was sooooo happy!

god yes when I was on microgynon I was a hormonal wreck I came offit overthe summer and when I got back to uni the next term they couldn't believe I was the same person.

Microgynon made me into a psycho b*tch from hell, but I stuck with it and I'm OK now! Very argumentative and emotional at the time, nearly ruined my (then) fairly new relationship. Glad it didn't!

hmm i think microgynon stablised my mooods haha..im off it now, but dont want to go back on that on as i was crying rather a lot come to think of it! and put on a bit of weight tooo..hm..

The pill made me psychotic and it really wasn't good as I was a trainee teacher at the time. Now I am single again I don't have to worry anymore and no more Ms Jekyll and Miss Hide

I was first put on Microgynon, but I was find with my moods, I just changed it because I got headaches. But now I'm on Ovysmen and I've gotten soooo moody and stressed and depressed and everything else that comes along. I'm thinking of changing to the injection though, because I've started to become a bit forgetful as well :rolleyes:

I was on celeste and I was a fat emotional wreck. Microgynon made me moody for a while but I didn't put on weight and I'm fine now, so it might've just been a-levels.
