What is the best/desired/optimum/recommended temperature for Benedict's - once it has been added to solutions and is testing for reducing sugars?

The optimum temperature is about the point where the water boils. That's more in the 90s. That means you don't have to squint at the thermometer half the time while doing the reducing sugars test.

Good. I used 90 deg C today in my experiment.

Hope it worked. The sugars tend to break down when the temperature's too high, I hate it when that happens.
